Day 11 and 12 and then a special day 13 gift

I really must do better at blogging. It is amazing to me how fast and packed my days are so that a regular habit of sitting at my computer has not developed. If I am to be the writer I dream about, I think somehow I need to get into a daily practice. Oh, how I love to write.My day 11 gift was donating through my red cross to Haiti. Day 9 and 10

Day 9After writing my experiences of gift giving, I was sure that I would deliberately give a gift and with consciousness. Yet, the day passed uneventful for my Sunday as I continue to do and yet nothing gets done--particularly achieving a clean house with everything in its place. Day 5, 6, 7 and 8 -- There is something to this

So after almost forgetting to give one of my days and not wanting to start over, I realize I must consciously wake up in the morning asking myself who and what can I give today. The thought that this would start my day excites me as it also allows me to think of what can I be grateful for... Day 2 through 4 - Its Easy to Forget

I realize how quickly the days go by and how each day you must really think about another to bring a gift. Day 2 was a gift of forgiveness for my sister Ven as I picked up the phone. We had not been talking since a breakdown in our conversation over the holidays. My brother had gotten sick and still I had refused to talk to her about it. I was withholding. Day 17 - A Daily Practice

So I am two weeks in to this thing and my day 17 gift was not obvious. Yet, by 8pm that night I was determined that a gift was to be had. So I looked at home much money I had--3 dollars in cash. And rolled it up and offered it to my co-worker. My co-worker is often heard saying she has just enough money to pay her bills. Her face screamed with delight as she looked at the money in my hand. It's for you I said. My gift for today.

Day 14 - Now I have a little calendar pop up around 4pm saying "What is the gift for the day?" I went to Dahn Yoga today and we do a deep dance that generates the healing vibration. It was my first time and a friend had told me about it. In my goal to be more athletic, Dahn Yoga has shown up on my path.
