- About me:
- I've had an interesting life so far - stand up comedy for 10 years, songwriter for 8 years, a journalist for 10 years (with a million jobs inbetween). There have been tough patches (dad's alzheimers, mum's cancer) and lots of ups and downs romantically. However, it's humour and the kindness of others that gets you through. And helping others takes your mind off your own stuff - I reccomend it!
I'm based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UK, so would like to hear from anyone in the locality - maybe we could do some stuff together?

DAY 1 - here we go!!

I just discovered this site and was so interested, I signed up immediately. I truly believe that when things get tough, the key is to turn the focus away from yourself, and do something for someone else. Not only does it help them, it takes your mind off your own problems. So here we go - the challenge is on........
Day 1 - I popped a copy of The Secret (DVD) in the post to a depressed friend. The very least it can do is lift his spirits.....

I am so sorry-- I haven't been checking in so I missed your message. Very intriguing to me, your reference to MS. I have never taken the time to get a definitive diagnosis--I don't have the insurance, for one thing. I have sporadic "muscle squeezing," and feeling a "buzzing" of the limbs, but I get on with it, as well...I don't want to sit and ponder it--may be a good thing or a denial thing. I keep up with my yoga, and try to incorporate the idea of giving to others as much as possible (that's exactly what Cami did by starting the website), I also get Reiki and massage--all helpful. Please share your comments! Do you stretch, do yoga, have some energy medicine done?

It is a very dark and rainy day here, to. We have had a drought , so I will be blessed by it, but I do love the sun shining.

Love the fiddle playing, I had a daughter that played viola, and tried to get her to play violin, thus the fiddle, but NOO! Now she is married to a Bass player. She quit playing, my other daughter played the flute, and still has hers and plays for her son occasionally. I never played anything, just tried to live thru them!
Your pics are great, do you have any video or sound of your band or cmedy skits? I would love a link! -sThanks very much for your comment about my photography :)
