- Why I'm choosing to give:
- There are those who spend life taking and those who spend giving. Those who spend so much time giving generally are taking from those they love, taking their time and consuming their love. I take for granite all the wonderful things I have in my life. I am joining 29 gifts because I want to again realize the one thing that is truly essential for me; the ability to give and receive love.

- I could probably describe myself differently on any given day. Our lives change daily, sometime because of the events that surround us, the people we meet or even the way we perceive everything around us… At my core I am a Midwestern farmer’s daughter, the wife of a man who needs to be loved, a veteran of 15 years in the restaurant world, a teacher and a salesperson. My desire is to create, and form the world around me- I am a gardener, painter, potter and a sculptor.
