Day 6 to10

I'm loosing track of the days. One way Im giving is to NOT blog on this site or any other for that matter. rather I am giving my computer time to my boys.

I still feel everything I've given away is self serving. I went through old photos and my packs for family of all the duplicates I 'didn't already want'.

I gave away a coffee table but i admit I had tried to sell it on Craigslist about ten zillion times first. Still, it was much more fun- cleaner somehow- to give it away. And the… Continue

day 2 through five

Ah man- i wrote out a looong blog for days 2 and 3 and 4 and somehow, accidentally, didn't actually post it. Its no wonder I'm feeling I can't keep track of my giving- I'm always running off to give! Each day I can think of quite a few things I have given- from cheer up meals to my husband after a hard day, to handing out antique books through freecycle and craigslist, doing another moms chore at the preschool, shoring up our fence to a tree so it doesn't fall on the neighbors garden, a wink to… Continue

Day one

for lack of creativity I copied Colleen and took my husband and 4 year old out for frozen yogurt. I definitely benefited from the gesture as the boys were so happy and of course I partook of some chilly treat on a hot hot day as well.

I'm guessing that a lot of what I give is going to be things I would give anyway. I'm a mom- which means constant giving. Perhaps thats why parenthood really changes ones outlook of life and way of being in the world. There's not a whole lot of room for… Continue

day Two and Three
okay- I'm lagging on the blogs. Lets see- I gave away time- letting my husband take some free time while I put the boys to sleep.
Today I gave books. Books on Judaism. This was a selfish act, as these books have been sitting in my art studio for near on ELEVEN years, unwanted and browsed. I am happy they are gone. Sadly the man, who I contacted through a local temple library, only took one of six boxes. Sigh.
Next I really shall attempt to give away something I wasn't already trying to get rid of...

Sharon, so glad you have decided to give with us!
I am the international women greeter, but seeing your name, I HAVE to say HI!
I am sharon from woodstock, ga USA. Welcome!
I am in my 3rd set of 29 days and my life has taken a turn, I never saw coming for absolute awesomeness! Everyday I give, I blog and talk to women all over the world! We are changing the way we live, think and feel thru the principle of giving away one thing every day! I am so glad I stayed here till the miracle happened for me, it was not overnight, and it did not happen until I gave on a regular basis for a while AND wrote here about it every night! See, for me, it made me mindful of what is going out, what exactly is coming in-which was way more than I thought-and what was changing, ever so quietly, but nevertheless, changing in me!
I am blessed, have less pain, am more positive, uplifted, happy and outgoing than ever before! So, let me know if you need any help here, if I do not know the answer, I can find it for you! Stay in touch!
