Why I'm choosing to give:: I believe change occurs one person at a time. I would like to be part of that change for myself and the future of my family.

What I'd most like to receive:: In the spirit of the 29-Day Giving Challenge I am not starting the journey with thoughts of what I might gain. I do, however, feel the need to focus some of my attention outside of my own family. To offer my mindful attention to others, in some small way, sounds like good medicine.

About me:: I am a mother, wife, and artist. My idea of comfort is enjoying a steaming bowl of homemade soup and cornbread while watching the birds outside enjoy their sunflower seeds.
