Yesterday, I helped my computer illiterate Best Friend print out two poems...at the last minute...that she wanted to share at her bible class. She thanked me, and told me how much she appreciated me.Today's gift was a prayer...lots of them, for my husband as he goes through a difficult time.See More

- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I'm a giver, but this will make me be mindful in my giving. I love Cami's challenge. I love to give!! I love gratitude, grace, and giving. The new 3G network.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Love. That my son will read this book, and know that there is a higher power, find love for himself by giving. He's 14 and is having teenager angst. He told me today that he didn't like himself. He also stated he didn't see what others saw in him. I want him to love himself.

Shortly after I arrived at work I received a phone call from my local bank telling me that our business account was $4,000 overdrawn. GULP! How could THAT even happen? I grabbed the checkbook and noticed my secretary had just made a deposit last week, and I was still confused as to HOW we were overdrawn...and by so much. I grabbed the latest bank statement and then I ran upstairs grabbing the other business and personal checkbooks to see how much money there was so I could make a deposit to…

Today's gift was time with my best friend. We haven't seen much of each other for the past six weeks since her son was here on a short leave from the Coast Guard between assignments. She then decided to drive across country with him to his new posting in San Diego and help him set up house. We missed each other immensely. I called her and asked if she would like to 'walk'.
