- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Like Cami, I was diagnosed with MS about two and a half years ago - and while I am certainly not a 'worst-case scenario', I have been facing more and more challenges on a daily basis. As a result, I have never in my life felt like such an unproductive member of society. When I read about the 29-Day Giving Challenge, it just spoke to me...
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I certainly don't expect that this journey will solve all of my problems, and I hadn't thought about it in terms of 'what I'd like to receive'...I'm literally doing it for the good of my health.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- I followed a link from another site (can't remember which)
- About me:
- I think I covered that in the 'why I'm chosing to give' section. Well, I guess there's more to me than 'my disease' - but right now, it is most definitely at the forefront....

First of all, thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome - this is truly beautiful and wonderful place to be!
That being said, I wasn't quite sure what my gift was going to be for this first day. On my way out the door, I looked through my purse for my car keys and came across a Starbucks gift card that has been there since Christmas - a well intentioned gift, but one I knew would go to waste. Today is day one of the giving challenge. I signed up last week, with the intention of beginning the challenge on March 1st. Lying in bed this morning, I meditated on how I am going to live my life today, with gratitude and love - and I rose feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. I haven't decided quite yet what my give will be today, but it will come to me when the time is right
