Whew, I've been MIA! I took a break from the blog for a few days! Day 13 was just amazing. It was a Friday night. I was extremely tired, but decided to go out tango dancing. Yesterday, I decided to go to a show to support our excellent dancers and musicians in the community. I was tired, but thought - this is a good things to do. I always feel bad that I don't make an effort to go to these events. Addtionally, the funds from the show are going to Haiti!

Today was an odd day so far. I think it is not easy for me to give openly to strangers. I somehow am fine giving anonymously, but not openly. It's fine if it's for my family or friends, but otherwise, I'm noticing that I have hesitation. Today, I had the opportunity to help out a woman in line at Rite-Aid. Yesterday, was one of those days where I was constantly running around. I had a busy day at work and then an intense evening of classes/practicing. I was pretty tired, but wanted to check my email. As it turns out, my student had gotten a room for our next class and wants to help coordinate things. I always make sure to let her know I appreciate her help and find ways to let her know that it's valued. I then sent out the announcement for the class, and thanked her specifically in the e-mail.
