- I'm choosing to give because, despite family traumas and tragedies which have caused me to question why bad things happen to good people, GIVING remains the most reliable source of positive energy and fulfillment for me.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Grace and strength to never lose sight of the bigger picture; and to be the best I can be for my son who depends on me, and my husband, who I lean on much to much

- I read Cami's book after seeing her on the Today Show.
- About me:
- I'm married (34 years). We've had the typical rollercoaster ride, but we've also had 4 children who make us very proud. Our 30-yr old son was the victim of a random shooting when he was 19. Brain damaged and totally dependent, I am his primary caregiver. I continually look for ways to make lemonade out of lemons, but it's agony seeing your child this way. He was always a giver; we'll do this together.

Happy Valentines' Day! Time to stop and smell the roses!

This week was busy with taxes and year-end reports but we managed to find some time each day to "stop and smell the roses." In anticipation of Valentine's day, we:
Monday - made love song CD's for some friends
Tuesday- helped Rob paint frames for gifts to sibs; I took my husbands's night shift with Rob (we trade off) so he could catch up on his zzz's.

Good morning everyone,
This is actually our first official blog, even though we started the Challenge last month, so I guess we should start with an update, along with some realizations I've made on what I've gained and what we can give.
