Day Twenty Nine and thoughts on where to go from here

My partner and I are doing prep work tonight on a brunch that we’ll take tomorrow to some friends who recently had a baby. Day Twenty Six

Today I treated a friend to lunch for her birthday. We had a great time.But I am forced to admit that I would have done this even if I weren't in the 29 Gifts Challenge. I think that if/when I do round two, I am going to need to push myself a bit more. I gave a book credit on Paperbackswap.com to my friend C.I'm trying to make sure that I do things, as part of this project, that I wouldn't normally do. My gifts today were several very small ones.

My coworker S is going through a divorce. I gladly spent time listening to her and letting her get things off her chest.

I paid a sincere compliment to another coworker.

I emailed a friend who I hadn't emailed in ages, with a sincere explanation of what's been going on with me. This fence needed to be mended and I'm glad I started doing so.
