I've been wanting to reach out to the 15 year old girl from Richmond Ca that was gang raped on October 24th ever since I first heard the horrific story. So, today I tracked down her contact information on the internet and sent her a special card that I had bought for her yesterday. I also sent a small check to a fund that was set up for her. I had no magic healing wise words for her - just a heartfelt interest in her well being.

Have been reading Cami's book after learning about it in Body and Soul magazine. I was going to wait until I finished the book to start my 29 days of giving but in as much as I was giving a gift to my friend Marie this evening anyway I decided ... hey - why not begin right now? So, I am on board and giving some thought to future gifts. I would like it to be spontaneous, but having a few ideas in reserve might take the percieved pressure off and keep it all stress free.
