- About me:
- I have already done the 29 days of giving more than once. I was motivated to share an experience which brought me to the site.
I volunteer at a Federal Corrections Facility for women and did a presentation of the 29 day gifts program in October of 2011. When we go back each month, more and more women are picking up the practice, and share how life has changed them and for them. The Chaplain in charge stated that even if a small group of inmates used this practice, the difficult climate of the penitentiary would be much relieved.
It appears this is happening, and our little volunteer group watches in awe as we see it taking off and making a life of its own.
Hooray for 29 gifts, it's magic and wonder.
