Today is my 29th day of giving. I have met the challenge and learned so much along the way.
Today I gave my discounted tickets to the Ren. Faire to friends who where going. We did not go this year.
I then made a fine breakfast for my guys and washed, dried and folded my husbands gym clothes. My husband then gave me the gift of walking with me.

Day 24
Today I stopped at Aldi's to pick up my favorite chocolate. It is mint or orange dark chocolate and it is this bigger box that inside is several smaller bars. Just the right amount. As I was packing my bag I pulled out a bar to enjoy and I noticed a teenage girl nearby. She gave me the most delightful, knowing, chocolate lover's smile and I handed her the bar which she accepted graciously. It is so easy to give and to receive.

Day 20
I am in the midst of writing a book. My book will include some of my story. I told my mom this during my visit and while she said she trusted me at the time, she later went into a major fear cycle about what I might put out there about my childhood. My gift was not to react, or enter the drama. I reminded her who I am and that I have no intention to hurt her. I then was able to direct her toward healing her own shame. Shame means those feelings have not been worked…

Day 19
This morning my oldest cat Nick presented himself for an all over rub and chin scratching. I slowed me pace to give him the gift, which of course was a gift for me too. His thunderous purr is one of the best sounds in my world.
A girlfriend took me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. When I arrived she was in tears. Her dogs had found a bunny nest in the middle of the back yard and had caught and killed 3 baby bunnys. She had heard them screaming and had…
