Day 10

Today I told some of the overworked, underpaid nursing assistants at work how much I appreciate what they do. Lots of hugs all around. What I got was not at all minding that I went in to work for the 6th straight day in a row with only one day off coming up.

I tripled the usual tip to a hardworking waitress today. She gave me such a huge smile as she wished me a Merry Christmas that that warm feeling is going to last at least 2 more weeks!

Baked 2 quiches today to take over to friends this evening. I had a lovely evening with friends and coworkers at a Christmas party.

I stopped at the grocery store after work, as a lot of people do on their way home to prepare dinner for their families. I let an especially harried looking woman go ahead of me in the checkout line. She was very thankful. I'm gettting my mojo back.
