Elly, You know how I told you we got snow yesturday? Well, it is pretty typical in Texas to be wearing shorts one day and have snow the next. So now that cold weather has hit for the first time this year, I pulled out a jacket that I haven't worn (…

Thankyou Elly! You are so sweet. Today I give in faith again-although my fears and doubts are starting to fade.

Jane, Thank you for your comment. I read your blog on time and was very touched by your gift of "leave." As a working mom I can certainly understand what an amazing gift time is. T. Dali

Day 4

The universe gave back! I'm in charge of the Book fair at work. For three weeks now I've had this note on my Outlook reminders: "Book Fair Arrives. Get help!" But, of course I didn't get around to recruiting help to set it up. It was really bothering me trying to figure out a time to get it set up--no way to do it over the weekend. So this afternoon I got a phone call from a woman who heard we were having a book fair and wanted to volunteer to help set it up for us! "Our church cancelled service… Continue

Day 3

Gave in faith again:

Still haven't made it to the store to buy the gift for the Tree of Hope tag. But I did give the bakery goods to Laurie and Maggie--the one's I bought yesterday. However, I forgot that I did that and was thinking by three oclock, that I still hadn't given my gift. So I sat down and worked through Savannah's math homework with her. This is a gift that shouldn't be a gift, but something a good mother does, but normally I coach from the sidelines. Today, I sat down and worked t… Continue

Day 2

Today I give in faith, again. Still nervous. Mostly about logistics. I have too much on my plate. On the first day, I was at a loss for most of the day so I decided to take a tag for the Tree of Hope--a gift card for any grocery store. I thought I had no other ideas and that would be quick, at least. But I didn't get to it. Didn't do it today either. Today gave me another false start--I had to go to the Blue Mesa Grill in Addison for a work related luncheon. I got there with time to spare so I w… Continue

Day 1

Today I gave in faith. I gave in faith feeling that my fears and doubts, (not knowing if an opportunity to give would present itself, worrying what the reciever would think of me, would there be enough time in the day to get to this, and what my true motives are.) would somehow be resolved.

These issues did plague me throughout most of the day but I found that when I finally gave my gift, it was like unclogging a drain--I was motivated and fully able to keep going, and going and going!

I gave… Continue
