- Why I'm choosing to give:
- For years I have always said I want to give back and he never felt i was capable. I have just started to go to church again since childhood and with that I guess I am trying to become a better person and learn to help others and not just dwell on my problems thought this could be a stepping stone.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I want to learn to love myself and stress less want to generally change the person i am inside to a more loving person don't get me wrong i love my son and family but can be a little hard on myself and people quick to judge hoping this will help with that.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- I remember seeing the title before but not sure where but when i was in the bookstore this weekend i ran across the book and purchased it read it in 2 days which is a biggie for me.
- About me:
- I'm a 36 year old single mother who is trying to find herself again and face struggles that occur in her day to day life and come out on top. Being a mom is the best thing that God has or ever could give me. I love to spend time with my son going to basketball games or playing baseball outside on a nice spring day.

Day 11& 12 All about me

This weekend is all about giving to myself. I had a friend come up from Austin we went out to a winery then a local bar. On saturday we went to an all day concert. My gift was also to her I usually go visit her in austin and while I'm there she will take care of everything I need so while she was here I was able to return the favor by taking care of her. It felt nice to be able to take her out.

Today was a gift for me and little one. When I get depressed my house can tend to get out of control and I can lose all motivation to clean.
So today my son was able to come home to a clean house plus I went through and organized his book shelf and dresser drawers.
I also mailed my friend that is going through a rough time a card that said its great to have you in my life please know I am here for you.

Today when I was driving my little one to school he asked if I would pick him up early. So after I finished work for the day I went home and did some stuff around the house and decided to go pick him up for the day.
So my gift for today was picking my little one up early from school which he was finished with school but his school offers aftercare. I picked him up from school we ate dinner and then laid on the couch and watched batman beyond together. It was nice to cuddle with my…

Haven't been in the giving mood so it's been a little hard to think of cool things to do. So for my gift today I put both of my neighbors trash cans up for them so that it would already by done when they arrived home.
