It seemed appropriate on the day after Thanksgiving, a day dedicated to giving thanks and eating, to donate to a charity that is committed to feeding hungry children. So my first day of giving was a donation to the 'We've Got Your Back' backpack pro…

Days 9 & 10

Day 9 (Dec. 9) - I was challanged by something I read here about how we only seem to give away things that we are done with anyway. So I decided to give away something that I love.

My oldest daughter moved out of the house this last year, so this is her first Christmas in her own place. I gave her my very favorite Christmas decoration, which also happens to be her favorite Christmas decoration. I did make her promise to take very good care of it! It made her so happy!

Day 10 (Dec. 10) - Donate… Continue

Day 6

School and schoolwork all day today, but I sent a beautiful art card and thank you note to my sister, and reached out to a couple of friends on FB.

What I received: My 19 year old daughter posted as her status on FB: 'I have the best mom in the whole world. Thanks for the flower, momma." Right where all her friends could read it!
