Terri,
A great big "Hey!" from Woodstock, Ga, USA! I am so happy we have so many givers from all over the world! Thanks for joining at such an exciting time! I am on the 3rd day in my 7th round of 29 days. I hope you have the wonderful experience here that I have!
Let me know if you need any help!
We did a "give" in Atlanta a few months ago and gave away 100 roses on a sidewalk, it was 9 members from the metro ATL area, we started a "local" group, and you can start or join one too!
Make friends, read blogs, write blogs and leave other folks comments! Post pics and videos, join inner groups and GIVE! Have fun and watch for miracles to happen in your life when you do 29 in 29! Hope to see you around in the site!

Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
I choose to give in my daily life wherever/whenever I possibly can so that is not why I am joining. After much soul searching as to why I would sign up to post about what I do normally, I realized it might just convince someone else to help out as well. We can all use a little push to be better people, perhaps that is what this is truly about.
What I'd most like to receive:
I'd like to make a difference.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
A very persistent friend
About me:
I'm a stay at home mom and I beleive I have the best job in the world. Through my daughter my life has a purpose, I was put on this earth to be her mom.
Do you agree to read and follow the 29Gifts Code of Conduct once you join our site?
yes

2nd Blog

Ok...I missed a couple of days, I've come to realize I just don't have the time to sit and blog on weekends (especially this time of year) so I will do my best the rest of the days of the week.

This weekend was my daughter's anual weekend to give. My 7 year old daughter is a tomboy, always has been, always will be. She has never played with a doll, strongly dislikes anything pink and frilly and refuses to wear dresses or anything similar to a dress. So when we attend work Christmas… Continue

Well, here I am.

With much prompting from a friend and much soul searching, I have finally joined. My hesitation is not from not wanting to be a part of this wonderful initiative but from not beleiving it was necessary for me to write about the giving I do.

I beleive in giving something of myself every day of the year so I do not join to be part of the "29 day challenge" my personal challenge is and always has been to give all I have to give every moment of every… Continue
