- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I have just finished reading your book(in two days) and was inspired indeed. I want to give to refresh my soul and find more meaning in my life.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I would love to have a new perspective on my life, which has become stagnant over the past few years. I want to live with enthusiasm, as I once did and to feel my soul filled with love, excitement and hope.

- About me:
- I am a recovering alcoholic of 24 years. I went back to school when I was forty two to get an undergraduate degree in human services, worked as a drug alcohol counselor for seven years when I decided to go back to school for a masters degree. I went to Naropa in Boulder and was filled. I received my degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy when I was fifty three and have worked in community mental health as a therapist since 1997. My life has been full and content yet there is something missing.
I am divorced, a very long time, have four incredible children, the twins just turned 35 on the 30th, and I have six wonderful grandchildren.
I am hoping to find a companion to share the final stage of my journey in this earth walk.

There are so many memories
Yet to create
As I reflect on the tapestry of my life
I know that each thread is pure color
Pure light
Connected to create a flawless fabric
The fabric of my life
Entwined with miraculous events
Magnificent happenings
Love seeps into my heart
It is woven into the texture of my life
Shelter the cold with warmth
Foster feelings of tenderness
And compassion
Sing songs of joy to the joyless
Usher n a time of peace
Where peace is unknown
Understand
Where there is no understanding
Wrap arms around a weeping child
Wipe the tears from her face
And see a smile of hope
That is a fleeting glimpse of
The tapestry laid before my feet
Inviting me to go forth
With love
Peace
Understanding
Touching souls
Connecting hearts
Loving humanity

Called my little neighbor, who lives across the street and is in a rehab center, as she fell and broke her hip. She was hoping to get out on Thursday, yet it looks as if she is going to have to be there until the first of September, she said that she misses her cat, yet knows it is being taken care of,

Have been so busy have been too tired in the evenings to post, so thought I would do so tonight so I do not forget
Wednesday day 10 brought a fruit tray and a card for us to sign for my friend Lynda's birthday, I offered to buy a cake, she brought her own for the whole office to share,

Sat patiently with a date's son, paying as much attention to him as my date
Day 8 phoned my brother, who I talk to rarely, told him I loved him, called a friend who was having an emotional day, asking if there were anything I could do to help
and Day 9, gave my boss a package of my weight watchers barbeque chips
And I have received so many things, cannot possibly put them down on paper
Day 5 and 6, second time around

Day 5, Gave money to CP campaign,
sent prayers for a friends wife
Day 6, today took two of my good friends to lunch, we had a marvelous time, this feels so good and is so nice to think of others with intention
