I was at the pharmacy picking up my husbands prescription. I had just finished my transactions and was walking out to my car, when I noticed an elderly woman checking out at the register with a handful of gift boxes. I noticed she was struggling to keep all those flat boxes in her arms. I made a conscious effort to wait for her to arrive at the door the same time I did. I held her doors and helped to her car. Not sure where to start so I thought I would start small! Walked around with box of chocolate cakes in my bag ( with a gift label) waiting to meet the person that they were for - hoping that i would know it when i met them. And I did.

Oh, and I also gave a tip even though I had food to go. I wasn't going to leave it but then changed my mind and went back in to give it to the waitress since the homeless lady outside whom I was going to give it to had already left.
