This is the time of year to be thankful for what blessings we have. I love the idea of giving something to someone every day to help spread kindness. It would be great if that sparks others to pay it forward as well.
What I'd most like to receive:
I'd like to feel that joy every day of making someone's day better in some small way.

Day of PJ's

Today, my gift was to myself. I was awakened at 4:30am by the big storm rolling through town. Finally fell back to sleep some time after 5am. Didn't wake up again until nearly 9am. Storm was to be blowing all day and night so I decided to make it a stay-in-my-PJ's day. I LOVE these kind of days where I can lounge around my house and relax. Donation to Partners in Health

Today, I made another donation to the help support the massive amount of aid needed in Haiti. I am moved by all of the people and organizations that are working day and night to bring aid to the people of Haiti. The amount of work necessary there is overwhelming so I want to do my small part to help. I donated to Partners in Health who I've heard does very good work getting medical care to those in need and has 25 years experience working in Haiti. Surprise in Cami's book

Today I went to Borders with a plan for an anonymous give. I took a $5 bill and wrote "Love, 29gifts.org" on both sides. Cami's book was no longer on the front tables ;-( I went to find her book among the shelves. Once I found it, I slipped the folded $5 bill into the middle of the book, with part of the bill hanging out so someone would see it.
