I am normally very healthy and the past few days I have experienced signifcant pain in my back from an unexpected injury .... it spread around to chest muscles, too, and as I lay in bed awake, breathing through the pain, trying to locate and heal the source, I had the sense that my heart needed healing. My husband and I have decided that we will move away from the traditional gift buying for family members to giving to charity in place of holiday gifts. We started a little this year, but realize it is a transition for other family members. So, we're letting them know this year what to expect from us next year and also asking that they do the same in return for us next year.

I just donated for the second time to this wonderful cause: Kondwa Children's Foundation.....they provide basic necessities and schooling for children. You can search for their website and they offer $30- donation cards for holiday gifts or just because.
