Days 12, 13, 14, & 15

Where has the time gone? Day 12 I gave via my abilities at the spiritual center.On day 13 I made color copies and for an upcoming event at the spiritual center and distributed a few. I also managed to become amused and forgiving when for the 3rd month in a row one of my teachers missed our scheduled session. Days 9, 10 & 11 round three

On day 9 I changed my schedule to accomodate the spiritual center and taught some meditation. On day 10 I subbed someone's classes. And on day 11, today, I handed out more balloons! This time they went to a few kids and to many adults who enjoyed them in the office at work.

Days 7 & 8 round 3

Day 7 I washed all the socks and undies in the house though we usually do our laundry separately. I made dinner so my beloved could have time to work on music.Day 8 I taught all my usual classes and tried all kinds of new things. Very validating. I responded to a spontaneous impulse and gave balloons to a random mom who surprised her kids with them. Gave more balloons to some co-workers and neighbors. I took care of the kitchen and had quiet time after dinner, breaking up our usual routine and…See More

Day 28 & 29 round two

Still processing day 27's gig. We donated our time & talent, but the gift was to me as well. I had the chance to get some original songs out in the world for new ears to hear. The feed back from the audience was very validating. One woman from the audience told me she has a non-profit called Universal Dream of Peace. Days 26 & 27 round two

Let's see, Day 26 I taught my usual classes. I let myself try new things with a bunch of brand new students. It was a great work day.Day 27--today-- I rearranged my meditation space and cleared out a bunch of old stuff. Why I'm choosing to give:: I'm trying to get over the notions that I'm "not good enough" and "have nothing to offer".

What I'd most like to receive:: Clarity. Love. Forgiveness. Community. A sense that I am safe and provided for. Many opportunities to sing and create. Let's add PAID opportunities to sing and create.

My gift on Day 6 was to help a friend receive funding for a full-time arts position at her daughter's school by voting for that school's plan of action.
