I signed up as a volunteer to index census records from 1920s on line. Eventually, these records will become available at the genealogy site for people to locate their ancestors. It's totally interesting. Spent a big part of yesterday and also some hours today indexing.See More

Just a Little Clay for Play

I volunteer at a senior center and there was talk of a humor cart---playful things that seniors could choose from like puppets, masks, and child-like expressions to brighten their moments. I took several small cartons of play clay in bright colors for a donation. Hope they'll be enjoyed.
Diagnose Chronic Pain

I've been in chronic pain since before Christmas. Today, I finally had an accurate diagnosis and treatment which proved to be fairly straight forward. I'm feeling hopeful that soon I'll be able to be more active. On my way out of the clinic, I thought to ask about feed-back forms for patients. I filled out a very positive and appreciative survey about my experience and the kindly doctor who helped.
