Obviously busy the last few days but still busy on giving and receiving<3Over the last few days my gifts to other have been a new pill box with larger day letters and easy openings for my 95 year old grandmother. I saw it in CVS and could not resist. Her other pill box has to be at least 10 years old and seems very dirty ... although she says it wasn't. Today I focused on being in and appreciating "moments." I took the kids out for some last minute shopping they wanted to do and we all went to the library. I snuggled in bed with all three of them and we read books to each other! I also donated money to St. Jude's by buying my three kids a St. Judes Christmas teddy bear ornament. So for Day one I gave myself a gift that I will receive on Christmas. It is the gift of an e-course ... only $19.95 through the Omega Institute ...http://www.spiritualityandpractice.com/ecourses. About me:: I am a single mother going through an awful divorce. My best friend of 23 years moved in with his secretary and has essentially abandoned his children and been living a lie. We have moved in with my parents and I am working part time to make ends meet. I also underwent a signifigant health crisis this spring and I am trying to make taking care of myself a priority but struggle with my lack of time. I am trying hard not to be bitter and just move on but I feel so betrayed. And yet despite all of it I am so grateful for the love and support of my family and friends.
