Day 20 Puppy Love

After I posted yesterday, I discovered a puppy about 5 weeks old that had be abandond by it's mother. There was no way I could leave it, so after pleading with my husband, he came home with us. I have three dogs already so keeping him was not an option. An old friend was scheduled to drop by later that night. It just so happens that this friend is a great dog lover. What a wonderful day today turned out to be. We had our company Christmas Party and although it was a lot of work, it was well worth it. I gave a small donation to a veteran's group collecting outside the grocery store. We had too much chicken for the party so we donated a case to a local food shelter. I loaded down everyone with lots of left overs and sent a mountain of food to a church that has needy memebers. A great day for sure!
