Day 20 Puppy Love
After I posted yesterday, I discovered a puppy about 5 weeks old that had be abandond by it's mother. There was no way I could leave it, so after pleading with my husband, he came home with us. I have three dogs already so keeping him was not an option. An old friend was scheduled to drop by later that night. It just so happens that this friend is a great dog lover. Day 19
What a wonderful day today turned out to be. We had our company Christmas Party and although it was a lot of work, it was well worth it. I gave a small donation to a veteran's group collecting outside the grocery store. We had too much chicken for the party so we donated a case to a local food shelter. I loaded down everyone with lots of left overs and sent a mountain of food to a church that has needy memebers. A great day for sure!

Day 18
Today I went to pick up a check from a company my company does business with. I gave each of the ladies in the office Christmas cookies. I stayed around and chatted with them, enjoying their company. I also visited a relative of mine. She is an old maid of sorts being 60 and never married or children. Her neice and nephew are like her children. I asked losts of questions about how they were doing and what they were up to. Her whole face lights up when she talks about them. I let her do the talki… Continue

In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit. Lubabat was diagnosed with MS in the mid 90s and then in August of 09, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her reaction has been so inspirational - she is thriving through giving.
