Profile Information
- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Giving has always been important to me. It was easy to give when I had a lot, but I've been having trouble providing for myself for the last few years, and I believe that barely getting by is not my destiny. I had a brain hemorrhage in May of 2000 which left me with some weakness on the right side of my body, and that changed my perspective on life. It's given me strength to not settle for mediocrity, and to walk a different path. As much as I know I've evolved I want to walk in love with an overflowing heart. It's been difficult, and I know that being in fellowship with others who are taking this challenge is what I need to make a fearless shift in my life.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- The joy of shattering the illusions of lack while giving. I
know lack and limitation is a mindset and I'm ready to free my mind.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- I was listening to my radio this morning at 5 AM and heard Cami's interview. I loved her spirit and vision, and decided to take the plunge.
- About me:
- I'm a writer. I write poetry, songs, and I'm currently writing a film script. I'm not a big fan of the social networking scene. I gravitate towards voice, touch, and hand written letters. I'm a alkalarian, I meditate, and God comes first in my life. I'm single, and have a beautiful 21 year old daughter.

Day 22

This is my first blog post in the challenge, and I can honestly say that not a day has gone by where I haven't exercised charity, and patience. I'm giving of myself more deeply. I'm practicing forgiveness more fully , and whenever the opportunity presents itself I give whatever I can from my heart. I'm dealing with some issues concerning my daughter's well-being. She's on the receiving end of my unlimited, unconditional love yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I'm so glad I have my cats to pet!
