- I believe in the power of being a blessing to others. Right now I would like to get my mind off of me and my problems. Such as the irs and my husbands health and the fact I don't have any money to send my kids to college. I just want to live in this moment giving of myself in some small hopefully meaningful way.

Today I decided to do what I said I would never do again....I went to the No Kill Shelter and rescued a tiny chiuwawa..spelled wrong I know...
My daughter who is 16 has wanted one since forever and I actually meant to just make a donation..but....then I say him..he was rescued from a mill and is only 16 months old. I am not a fan of this particular breed but he looked at me with those great big bulging eyes and I could not help but think what a great Christmas present he would make for… Continue

Yesterday was super busy so this post is for yesterday...and hopefully I will be able to post this evening...see what a day brings.
I was getting a little bummed that I couldn't get out and about. But in the evening both of my daughters needed to buy secret Santa gifts for school at the last minute. So instead of being agitated that they waited until the last minute(which I normally would have been). I was happy to run them to the store to pick up some inexpensive gifts...I was glad… Continue
