Do we sometimes give TOO much?

Today when I opened my daily "imom" email (focused on parenting) the topic was "Gratitude or Overindulgence?". Being part of this 29 "giving" challenge - this topic really hit me. It made me think - Are we sometimes focused TOO much on our kids needs? Do we end up giving them far more than they need and actually should have? Should we take some of the indulgent giving to our kids and re-direct it to others?

Isn't day one so many times the hardest of any journey you begin?
As I sat and thought about how I would start these 29 days -- it suddenly occurred to me that it was the perfect day to start - because I had already STARTED! See - last week was a particularly good week for me. I usually love to stay on top of cards and gifts, but I had fallen behind -- w-a-y-b-e-h-i-n-d!!!
