I read Mbali's post about giving to ourselves and I have decided to devote this round of giving to myself. This is pretty hard for me because for some reason I always feel guilty when I do things just for me. I have so much to do already with kids, home, hubby and everyone else.....that I always end up putting myself last. This isn't good! So this 29 day cycle I am going to focus on giving to myself and NOT feeling gulty about it.

I just realized today is my 29th day!!! I back-tracked on my blog posts and saw that my first one was August 30th, but I was already seven days into giving. Wow!! Time flies!



Yesterdays give was groceries to a family in need. Today (day 29) I invited my friend over, whos baby is overdue. She is VERY pregnant and pretty uncomfortable. I offered to give her a pedicure (since she can't reach her feet) and I remember those days.....not so fun! lol. It turned into a nice night! She loved… Continue

But since I don't plan on stopping after day 29 I suppose it doesn't matter much. :) I have had a really great week....minus some squabbles with my hubby. I have been giving without even thinking about it...it just seems to happen naturally.

My cold seems to be going away.....Yiiippppeeeee!!! Today was a good day for giving! My brother told me his car isn't working and he doesn't have the money to fix it. I would have gave it to him, but I don't have it at the time either. So I offered him our other car instead....until he saves the money to get his fixed. My husband is a recruiter and drives a government vehicle so he can use that for the time being.
