Today's gift is to me-I am leaving to visit family and friends tomorrow and need to get things organized and cleaned before I leave. Helps me to free my mind when I'm gone-I won't be thinking about all the things I need to do when I get back.

Oh, I am still here and still giving gifts each day-little ones mostly. You know-tips for "counter people", letting others pass in traffic, picking up dropped items for someone in a store, driving my son's friends home, dropping off drinks to the HS baseball team, and returning empty ink cartridges to the school for charity. I have been wanting to sit down and write for a while, but I have been incredibly busy. I have been helping 2 new friends of mine run for school committee in or town. The election was this past Saturday-and they won!!! There were 4 candidates for 2 spots. It was so great to meet new people and work together to make it happen. Lots of forums to attend, emails & cards to send, and phone calls to make-more than 260 in 8 hours. But it was well worth it.
