The end of Round 1 on the 29-Day Giving Challenge.  Today I gave of myself.

Day 28 was yesterday actually. As I come to the close of this round I realize how much giving I do in life and what an impact it has on myself as well as others.  People have opened up to me like nothing before.  I've had opportunities put in my path as well.  Yesterday I was quasi-offered a very part time job, which is about all I can handle.  I still have an interview process to go through, which is very stressful for me, but I am just pleased the boss wanted me to even apply.

Sorry, forgot to post yesterday.  Too busy giving.  Yesterday I devoted the entire day to helping hubby re-arrange and de-clutter the basement to make room for a utility room remodel.  It needed to be done.  Normally I would have spread this activity out over several days, so as not to overdo myself.  But with hubby only having a few days off work this week it made sense to do it all as soon as possible.  I know he appreciated the help.  I finally gave up long after my back decided to pack…

I am giving away some of the stuff we de-cluttered.  But more importantly, I am also off to the church library to do an inventory for the annual report.  Plus I will be working on a quilt top for charity.  And I will be going through my freezer putting some venison in a bag for a family in need.

ETA: A man came to pick up a couple baseballs and a box of stuff from the utility room.  It was stuff that wasn't needed, so I'm not sure it counts as a gift.  But he was very excited by my…
