- I live deep in the woods of Glorieta, New Mexico about 20 miles outside of Santa Fe. After 10 years living in the middle of San Francisco, this is where I belong now. I'm a copywriter who loves:
1) being a newlywed

Looks like I've got either strep or mono. I am resisting going to the doctor and I have to wonder why this sickness is coinciding with my giving since I'm usually healthy. My giving goal is to try and get the strength up to make some cookies and wrap them up for friends.

Yesterday I woke up sick and was laid out on the couch all day. Today I'm actually hoping I did not give... did not give my wife my cold. Today I'm feeling a little better so tonight my gift is taking JD to the movies since she took such good care of me last night.

So I'm getting started on my giving a little late. No wait--I had it all planned this way. Yeah, that's it! I decided to wait until the season of giving so I could be in better harmony with the universe of holiday Americana. That's it. I donated to Cami's cause of the month. Go teddy bears in South Africa! There are so many people doing good things in the world, the least I can do is one little thing for the next 29 days.

I'm excited to have signed up for 29gifts but after talking it over with my fiance (she signed up too) we've decided to begin our 29 days after our wedding. The wedding is on Saturday and a week after the wedding we go to Argentina for 20 days so the majority of our giving days will be in a foreign country. This should make for extra interesting giving and the perfect way to give back since so many loved ones gave to us in order to make our honeymoon possible. Until then happy giving!

I'm sure it's not very exciting reading. I never thought I'd be a suburban mom but here I am.
We'll be thinking about you this weekend. Wish we could be there in person to give you our blessings.
Cool tattoos by the way. I'm working on a partial sleeve myself. Erik (Melissa's hubby) is now a tattoo artist and I'm having him create the masterpiece. I haven't started yet -- it's still in the design phase.
