Day 2

It was very very cold in NYC. My friend came over from Japan, and we ordered in Japanese food because it was too cold to go out. I gave a bit extra tip to the delivery person. Thanks to him, we were able to get our dinner in comfort of our home. He gave me a big smile in return. It was very nice.

Why I'm choosing to give:: I chose to give because I want to get out of the scarcity mind set. I know there is abundance in the universe, and I want to be part of it by giving. Also I always feel rushed without watching what is really important in life. I want to be able to shift my point of view to look how wonderful the world is.

What I'd most like to receive:: A peace of mind to make precious people around me happy and smiling. and ability to appreciate abundance in all aspects of my life.

About me:: I am a designer/photographer, working in NYC. Grew up in Japan, and moved to the US when I was 24. Recently got married, celebrated by our wonderful friends and families. Living with my super-hero husband and a lovely cat.

Day 1 again

I stayed at home most of the day. I cooked dinner for my husband as a gift, and didn't complain when later I found that he was going out with his co workers and didn't need dinner. That was extra gift from me.

Starting again from Day 1 tomorrow

My life got so busy in the past few weeks since I started the challenge. I am starting again tomorrow from Day 1 to reset my energy. I found that the most difficult part for me is not giving part, it is keeping the journal part... but i will try to write it down even on my iphone or my notebook so that i can be more consious of my action.

In November, we're sponsoring a cause that has been started by fellow giver, Lubabat. We are so deeply touched and impressed by Lubabat's strength of character & spirit.
