This past year, I promised to give 20 mission boxes for children to a church that my friend is a member of. We decided to do this in lieu of gifts to each other at Christmas. I started collecting things to fill my mission boxes (plastic shoe boxes) last January.

My dog Spike died this past year after spending 15yrs here on earth as a faithful companion. When he passed away, I ordered a simple cross made out of mesquite wood. I had put his name on it and the dates of his birth and death. Tonight, I decided to add an angel and a celtic cross to add beauty to the simple cross. Today i called in sick from work. Had a headache and some back problems. I needed this time alone today just for me. I use meditation and colors as my focus. The colors that appeared were not forced but came on their own. The colors appreared in a small ring and then grew bigger as the ring came closer. The middle color was a beautiful plum circled by a ring of gold. So healing and comforting. Felt i needed to share this and maybe someone in the group will explore this same method.
