..."when my cup is full, I stop pouring"...-Tao

This was a slide show I made from the kitties in the shelter that I visited. Go visit just for fun, even they need friends!

Sunday morning...I got a cold.… Continue

...i think i'm missing the point...

I hate to say it, but all my 'gives' are not pre-meditated, planned, conscious gives. I know the point is to reflect on what we gave, even if it's small things, but I think i've come to a point where all my posts are of things that I didn't plan on giving. This means I should take it a step further and do some conscious giving, because i think I'm missing the point.

Take today for example, it was a pleasant Saturday where… Continue

...rain follows me every mile of the way home...

Honestly, I almost give up.

I didn't give anything and instead I was pretty unpleasant to say the least. Orders don't mean a thing, unless the product is shipping. That's all I'm going to say...oh and the fact that I'm losing money daily due to others' negligence.

I received RAIN the WHOLE DAY which consisted of me driving and more driving. Oh the last leg of my trip was 7 hours from Cleveland to… Continue

..More driving...

Second day in Ohio and I realize how much driving this trip is going to require! Already steps behind in my schedule and cities I must skip in order to finish the more important places I need to visit. I end up in Canton where my client has a store I must visit and then we end up at her house in Akron. She invited me over for pizza and we planned to go out for drinks (which didn't really happen). We've had a business relationship for 7 years,… Continue

Road trip to Ohio...

Woke up super-early to head out to Hamilton (Cincinnati) OH for an appointment with a client. It was a positive day today and the appointment went well, so for for today, I received good business - good groundwork for building the business- good praises from my boss - and an overall positive day.

Gave: I gave a couple free pairs of shoes to my client, and i gave her compliments and encouragement for having lost weight and getting fit. She… Continue

hey d-
yes my long distance woman decided to bag it all and move over here. she is a very brave woman and i am lucky. she is from holland. she has been here now for 7 or 8 years and so far everything is great. it didn't go like this at first though. we broke it off just like you two. met other people... all that stuff. eventually we both came to the realization that we were only trying to replace what we'd had in each other... being apart stopped making any sense at least until we gave it one good shot. so, now we are giving it that shot. here is another trite little saying to keep in mind; remember this one, "absence makes the heart grow fonder." i can feel only good things for you. smile. your courage has made you that much more irresistable!! ;)
