Day 15: Oct. 9

I did the chocolate-through-the-checkstand give this morning. Those are fun! (Little bit of chocolate from the Temptation Aisle given to cashier and bagger.) It sure made their day.



Also bought a bag of corn cakes for a friend while I was at the store. Her son is food averse and she has a hard time finding things he will eat, but my son shared a multi-grain corn cake with butter on it with him after school yesterday and he liked it, so later today after I pick up said child from… Continue

My giving was derailed by illness—my own, my kids', then my own again, lather, rinse, repeat. I'm back on track now. Today I have 3 hours of my time to the campaign of a political candidate I support, doing data entry.

Today I made an apple crisp to use up some of the apples we harvested from our tree over the weekend. While I was at it I made a second one and gave it to my housecleaner to take home.

Today I bought some little chocolate squares on my way through the grocery store checkout and gave them to the cashier and bagger.
