Grateful to be able to give & grateful 4 gifts received!!

...most importantly i am so thankful for the gift of "stable" health. This time of year I reflect back on how much we have survived especially over the past year & a half. During that time both of us were in hospital several times & we were so uncertain of the outcome. Thanks to all of U in our 29 Gifts community for being so supportive during those times. Cycle of Life...

The cycle of life has been uppermost on my mind this week. As I was starting to write this blog I got a phone call from my Aunt Joyce. My dear Uncle Jimmie aged 84 just passed away, this evening at about 630. He had been in hospice for a few days, after taking ill about a week ago now. He was such a sweet man & I will miss him dearly. When my Dad passed away 11 years ago (my mom had already died in 1989) Uncle Jimmie told me he & my aunt would be a substitute mom & dad. So, we've moved into a little 2 bedroom apartment on the 7th. Despite 2 years worth of downsizing & giving stuff away, of course we still have plenty of extra stuff! We had it in the trunk of Janet's car, ready to go to Goodwill. Well, we were taking our metal (bedframe & broken lamp) & recyclable stuff to the curb. We turned around to go back to get another armload & minutes later a truck pulled up to take the metal (they scrap metal around here for ca$h). So - Janet…

Hi There!!! Been so very busy...life hectic! But wanted to acknowledge how grateful I am for gifts received! God is great! Our niece got married, we went to Italy for the ceremony & took a lovely 12 day vacation & relaxed.
