Sigh. Oh yes, I like to sigh. Wherever I am - Wherever I go. So, my spectacular day started with a look out of my window. Of course, the rain and the wind like me and follow me day and night. But, because I am such a sparkling, positive personality, my morning smile didn't let me wait. I love every day. And I smile for every single day. Today was a day of peace for me, and I joined the 29 Minutes of Peace prayer group. Here are a few other things that I did throughout my day:

*Sent special prayers out to those in the military.

*Gave 5 minutes of peace through prayer to those who need peace.

*Spent time listening to a family member explain how she was feeling.

It's really just like the title says. I have done absolutely nothing productive today--and that's actually a bad thing, with how much work I've been neglecting and the fact that my Psych professor emailed me, telling me my grade is currently below a C, thanks to a blown test--but I am feeling really good right now. I am a member of Facebook and on the site they have an application called (Lil) Green Patch. you get your own garden and can send flowers and things to your friends and tend to thier gardens. when you do this the sponors of the (Lil) Green Patch will dontate to help save the rain forests. so today i sent flowers to friends and tended to there gardens to help the cause.

As a NICE girl from the 60's I do tend to want to please people. I also enjoy people and can be very friendly, even flamboyant at times (o.k. Most of the time...). So holding open doors, giving smiles, telling people how adorable their kid is, even exchanging some silly faces with some of them,(the kids, not the adults!) is a natural thing of the day for me. What a beautiful day! We woke up to cloudy skies, cool temperatures, and autumn rain. Perfect! And it's stayed that way all day long and is expected to extend into tomorrow.



After a nice, leisurely morning, my husband and I loaded ourselves into the minivan and set off in search of a circulation stocking for my foot. Three days of rain created flash floods in our city. A friend of ours emailed us to say he saw that Burlington was mentioned on CNN for receiving record rainfall but I didn't see it. Water continues to seep into our basement but we are keeping after it with the wet vac and am also running fans to help dry out the situation. Forecast for tomorrow indicates some… Continue

I must first thank everyone for the warm welcome I have received. It made me smile, no teeth baring though.

Today was the last pick up from my last freecycle posting. My old coffee table went to its new home where it will be the center of the living room instead of standing on end in the back of the garage. I suspect furniture likes be useful just like we do.

It is raining in my neck of the woods today. It had been raining all day. So today i picked up my Goddaughter and my other cousin from school so they would not have to walk home in the rain. At least they stayed dry!
