Today I am giving the gift that I thought I could never give away. It is an old baby quilt that was made for me and given to my Mom when I was born. I am sending to my oldest daughter who wants to have a baby. Sure hope it brings her some luck...that would be wonderful! I can't wait to be a Gramma! It was made in 1965 and is very special to me. Now I just have to find enough money for postage. Sure hope the post office doesn't mind alot of quarters...Thank goodness I have lots of those!

I am so pleased with my progress so far. I am giving mindfully and the most profound change I have seen is in my energy level. I was diagnosed with cancer almost a year ago and have had 3 surgeries and 5 rounds of chemo since last January. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. On this day I have offered a gift to a new friend of mine with recently diagnosed cancer.
