I have been away on vacation - with my family and it's bee truly lovely
On day 4: I gave a tip to the nail tec who pampered me for my holiday, so I not only gave to them, I gave to myself. Day 5: I gave gentle reassurances and much thanks to the panicked server on a the motorway services, for carrying on, in dreadful heat and with other grumpy customers giving them a hard time. Day 6: I gave a small gift to a friend, who I haven't seen for many months, when we met up. Day 7: I gave a listening ear and some information to help a relative who is facing a difficult health problem.Day 8: I gave myself a break and we ate out. Day 9: I gave lots of love and reassurance to my daughter. Day 10: I gave a massive smile to the lady in the wheelchair who was being pushed along and she beamed me the most lovely smile back. Day 11: I gave my husband an extra hug, I made sure I had his attention and told him that after 15 years I still love him more than life itself. Day 12: I gave a calm and gentle response to my husband and managed to avoid the usual 'camping divorce' which is a feature of our holidays :-) Day 13: I gave myself the morning in bed, interspersed with trips backwards and forwards to the washing machine and dryer - you gotta love holidays. And I gave my lovely a friend a big hug when she gave me my tea and her company. Day 14: I gave over a chunk of my overdraft so my daughter could have the more expensive, but more comfortable shoes for school, ready for when she goes back next week after the long summer break. Also between day 4 and day 12: I gave and received time, company, conversation to one of my daughters friends to come along on holiday with us. It's been busy
