I have been keeping my Gift Log in an actual notebook lately because it is now part of my grade for my Link Crew class! (: kind of really exciting. anyways, today my mom asked me to go to Titus 2 (a women's bible study) with her and even though I could have been getting ahead on homework I decided to go with her.
Turns out it was an amazing lessons that I needed to here on hermeneutics. I also was able to have an amazing prayer with my group and i was moved to tears. God works in amazing ways and when i give a gift, I feel like He rewards me everytime even if i don't immediately realize it.
God bless. (:

You amaze me. I admire all you do!
GREAT JOB, Danigirl!! Your gift of TIME was precious to your mom AND resulted in a special reward for you as well. God does work in mysterious ways, too countless for us to figure out, for sure!
I too am amazed at how often what starts out as gift to someone else moves me in some profound way and is truly a gift for me. Thanks also for challenging me to learn a new word! I had to look up hermeneutics (the science of interpretation, especially of the Scriptures) as I had never heard that term. Yuor Link Crew class sounds great.
I really admire you, you strive everyday to do the best you can with your life. Your Mom sounds like an awesome example too!
Comment by Anita Silva on November 8, 2011 at 2:57am Nice of you to go to the bible study with your mom. I have no idea what hermeneutics are, but it sounds like you had a good time, so it was a gift to yourself too :-)
So very true! Thank you for sharing the positives that you are giving and receiving. :)
