Day 14 - Resources

After my more intense day of giving yesterday, today, I found a simple and easy way to give. Again it was an exercise in expanding beyond material and monetary gifts. I met a fellow photographer friend of Brian's and we all had brunch together. She just moved to the Bay Area and is rebuilding her business so when we got back to our place, I offered her lots of suggestions for books and resources: The Enlightened Entrepreneur, Attracting Perfect Customers, POP! Stand Out In Any Crowd and Refuse to Choose. And of course Ladies Who Launch! The other thing I mentioned was the non-profit, C.E.O. Women that I volunteer at. She was looking to do a cool project about immigrants and I thought that would also be a great resource for her.

I realized that providing resources and contacts is a give that I do often. It was nice, though with this challenge, to be more conscious of that being a valuable way I naturally give.
