29 Gifts In 29 Days: Days 11 & 12
Gah! The days are just running past me!
The gifting theme of the past several days has been about re-connecting. I've been exchanging long e-mails and visiting with old childhood friends the past few days. So my gifts have been about listening, sharing and being open.
Honestly, the longer I am doing this challenge the more aware I am that I can't give fast enough or often enough before the Universe tosses something back at me to receive that feels so much richer, fuller and more valuable than what I've given out. Not that I'm hung up on judging or keeping score here, but... I'm kind of blown away and at a loss for words these days.
There are moments when my heart feels so heavy, but they walk hand in hand with moments of profound peace. Mostly what I am noticing lately is a feeling of gratitude for how simple and stress-free my life is and an awareness of the many possibilities and choices before me.
A phrase I use often in prayer work is, "God goes before each step, making clear the path." I am keenly aware of the truth of that in this moment.
