A great compliment on my 29th day! R3-Day 29 (05/13/09)
I feel bad that I haven’t been gifting that much lately. I have been receiving gifts. The lady I interviewed that other day emailed my editor and told her how much she enjoyed me and how professional I was as well. My editor was very pleased. I know that journalism is what I’m supposed to do with my life. I love it with all my heart. I realized today is my 29th day of my third cycle. I will be back because this is too much fun and I love that fact that everyone is so positive. Please stay that way always because by us doing this challenge, my friends, we are making this a better place for everyone! See ya soon!

It certainly is a positive place! As a newcomer to this network, I have found it so refreshing to be reading posts that are not filled with the cynicism and hostility that often reduce online forums to smoldering flame wars.
All the best with your journalism- I think it is such an important profession at the moment, given the amount of 'spin' being disseminated by groups of all persuasions. It's amazing how a good editorial can introduce such depth to an issue, and flesh out complexities that are being largely ignored in the public domain- now that is a type of giving that ripples far and wide. Hats off to the journos of the world!
