My dog Spike died this past year after spending 15yrs here on earth as a faithful companion. When he passed away, I ordered a simple cross made out of mesquite wood. I had put his name on it and the dates of his birth and death. Tonight, I decided to add an angel and a celtic cross to add beauty to the simple cross. When I had finished, I straightened up the table and was putting up some things and found a bright copper penny with the date of 2010 laying on the table. I know this was Spike's approval of the addition of the angel and the celtic cross. I felt the penny was a sign from Spike and added it to the simple cross. I feel Spike blessed me with his presence tonight; I received a special gift.
