A summer day with a child....
This is where I found myself giving yesterday~
As a teacher I have the luxury of JUNE, JULY & AUGUST
This is my first real break in some time, I have worked the extended school year program when my kids were getting to grown to hang out with me. Yesterday I hung out with a 7 year old and had to remember to share, use my manners and not be bossy. Whew, I would hear myself and bring it down several notches to recover and seriously I can be very bossy! We went to the bakery and came back to the house for fun in the sprinkler and to make a sand castle out of twigs and sand covered paper tubes. I'm looking forward to her return to get the draw bridge together, Rapunsels' hair down the tallest part of the castle & decorate it up, add sparkles and maybe a little fairy.
Every chance to make a day wonderful for a child is the best thing ever!
