a surprise give :-)
Well, as predicted the coaching training is keeping me quite busy, altho I do pop in when I can to read what folks here are up to :-) I had a cancellation this afternoon, so I decided to check in and read the blogs and share my give for today because I can't stop smiling about it!
One lovely young lady on the training course with me posted in the forums that she wouldn't be participating 'live' in the live classes (we also get recordings of them after) because she couldn't figure out an inexpensive way to do so -- the live classes are via teleconference and it is not a toll-free number.
I immediately got in touch and suggested she download Skype, which she did and we had a nice chat computer to computer last night. So that was my give (and receive) yesterday. She said she was so glad to be connected but she still wouldn't be able to attend this week's class because she didn't have the money this week to add skype credit (which you need to call regular phones -- very cheap --.02/minute -- but you need at least 5 or 10 dollars to pre-load onto your account)
But this morning I was on the train, and I thought "I wonder if you can buy skype credit for someone else's account?" so when I got home I checked it out. Turns out I couldn't-- but then I remembered it costs nothing to send money to friends via PayPal! :-) so I sent her $10 with a message that I wanted her to be able to attend this week's class. I know she will be very surprised, and the $10 should cover the cost of the next 6 class calls for her. Yay!

Great gives, Paula. I love Skype and Paypal. I'll private message my Skype address - maybe we can talk at some point in the future! My mom would be so excited to hear me talking to someone in her parents' homeland.
