29-Day Giving Challenge

All is well today--I finally spoke to my sweet Stephanie. It's been more than 2 weeks since she left. Our phone session went much better than we all thought- she was open and honest. Afterwards I spoke to her alone for about 15 minutes, like old times. I can't put into words how good it was to hear her voice.

Not much in the way of outside Gives as I stayed in all day.I am making some progress but feel like I need to do more- set up a work schedule and stick with it.

Gives:

My niece called from school and had problems with her foot (ongoing---don't ask!) so I picked her up. Stopped at McDonald's so she could get an M&M Mcflurry.

Stephanie apologized to me on our call tonight, something I thought I may not ever live to hear. I thanked her and told her how important that was to me.

I started collecting another bag of clothes to donate to Goodwill. Even though I just dropped one of yesterday, it seems like the guys in the house have plenty to get rid of!

Got up at 6:30 and made coffee for my husband, then went back to sleep.

Off to take a warm bath and light a candle.

I am so happy you had your talk with Stephanie~ It sounds like she's on the road to recovery. Bless her for apologizing. That's a positive step. Take some time to relax a bit Susan. You are drained and need to reboost! xoxo
