It is amazing to me how giving can just become second nature and you don't even think about it. I have given a lot in the past few days and did not even think to post it until I say the 29 day give logo on Facebook. So, I gave me best friend my favorite snuggly hooded cardigan that I lived in last year. Was going to sell it but decided she needed it more. I also loaned 45+ dollars to some neighbors I barely know. I was really mad at myself for doing it at first as it was the last of my money for the month. They paid it back and then turned around and had to borrow it again and I did it again even though I know borrowing money is not always a good idea, especially when you don't have much to begin with, but again the came thru and paid me back so all is well. Today I was going thru all the clothing I want to list on ebay, items that are way too big now that I have lost my 63+ pounds and I came across a nice red sweatshirt hoodie, I decided my next door neighbor should have it as she is here temporarily from California and always cold. So, have been giving without couciously thinking, "okay, what am I going to give today" I love that is becoming just second nature to do it!!
My latest giving project involoves some cats someone abandoned in our neighborhood. I am trying to live trap them so I can give them to the humane association, and then maybe they can get nuetered and find homes. there are 2 grey tabby males that are not neutered and they have been fighting with other cats in the neighborhood and I hate to think that they could be impregnating more females. The pet crisis in this country right now is at a breaking point and we don't need more kittnens. If you can give at all give a homeless animal a new home or give old rugs or towels to your local shelter or donations or your time. Thanks all.
